Robert Rowell & Kirk Lacob kicked off the "Fresh Era." Well done.

My sources always suck but...

At Christmas time, I heard Mullin was about to be sacked. Of course, that didn't happen and Bobby Rowell promptly scheduled a heavily covered joint courtside appearance with Mully to watch Monta try not to wince too much as he took a few jumpers and risked permanent catastrophic damage to his ankle while the Warriors shopped him around the league (ongoing).

Then I posted the stupid rumor about Ellis playing in the Boston game from Some Guy and Nelson's daily bullshit report. That didn't happen either, as I said at the time. But posting ain't no crime...

So hold firm in your estimation that my word on Warriors moves and their approaching reality is bullshit. It is. I don't know what stupid PR stunt the idiots who run this organization are going to pull next. I just know they'll do something and that it will be 100% retarded and not at all related to playing consistent winning basketball with any championship aspirations whatsoever. Ever.

That's the big secret of the league that you'd know intuitively if you had a brain and realized that every single owner in this league is some little old white dude who can't get it up or has his eyebrows professionally shaped (I'm lookin' at you, Mark Cuban):

You can make as much as or more than everyone else whether you ever win much of anything or not. Win just a little and the suckers will make you rich many times over. The extra cash and luxury tax NBA welfare kept in pocket would make rat fink bean counting sphincter boyz like Bobby Rowell's owner feel much better, rest assured, than spending big, making less, and winning some stupid trophy while the fat drunk coach and world famous NBA All Stars who killed him midseason hogged all the glory and stole the spotlight.
Rowell's tiny head would explode.

This would of course suggest that sacking a coach with two years remaining on his deal is not going to happen. Except that it just did. And now, of course, the previous burnt pile of money has a nationally ranked college team at the shittier Bay Area college with worse public works and less hot pieces of spoiled brat ass.
These things count.

On a related note, Mike M. should have never left NCAA work. He's good at it. More importantly, the morons in the front office should have never tried to get him. Robert ("I've been here 6 years!") Rowell blew that call hard core. Monty was never going to work out and Baron Davis was of course never going to work until his contract was coming up. Monty was just in the wrong place at the wrong fat lazy ass poser wannabe balla time.

All of which leads me to this hot bit passed on by a guy who knows things at a Bay Area business of respectable name and reputation in a town called home by just about every non-Cohan major NBA operative or decision maker currently residing in the Bay Area:

Nelson is gone at season's end.

We'll see.

  2. I think he could retire at the end of the season, but he won't get fired.

    Nice find by the Colonel.

  3. It won't matter what the Rowell press release says. If he leaves... he's canned.
