READ OF THE DECADE

According to Ric Bucher:

1. Minority owners want to buy Cohan out of their lives
2. Nellie's extension can end due to tanking.
3. Rowell got a 5 year extension
(and according to me, he's fired the moment Cohan sells)
4. Jackson wants out
5. Maggette's agent looking for a trade

My site dies with Cohan's ownership.

Trade Maggette for Mike Miller. salaries match well enough. Miller is more suited to Nellie ball and only has 2 more yrs on the contract. Really, though, I don't believe Nelson is interested enough to pull off a meaningful trade. Let the agents go find a trade - is that the laziest way to deal with it? And Rowell wouldn't recognize a trade if it was delivered with his morning paper.

Ironically, Nelson does seem to have the energy to go to court against Cohan. Maybe when you're 68 and the NBA title seems as far away as your 21st birthday. It's all he's got left in his bucket list..

Sue the Choly Chanukah out of Chris Cohan - yeah, I can do that.
